We’ll, it’s 2022! Natural immunity may finally take over as the dominate status and turn this pandemic into an endemic. We have been through it, have survived with very mild symptoms and are better off than before.
In 2022, we have made a few changes to our business that may impact the type of work we do for you compared to what we were able to do in the past. For example, second story pressure washing, deck building, second story facia repairs and gutter repairs were all projects we completed last year. Due to a combination of medications that make it easy become dizzy we are no longer are able to use ladders taller than a normal household step ladder; these services are now discontinued. Also, we used to have full use and strength on both hands and arms and were able to do heavy lifting or make strong use of larger tools that require great strength. Since cervical surgery last year, the strength has not returned in my left hand and fingers and as such some things are too difficult to handle. I have since become very aware that I must choose carefully what projects I accept to be sure that I’m capable of handling them properly so that the end result is perfect as you should expect it to be.
Remodel projects that take ore than four days and cannot be accomplished by myself with now have to be declined. Bathroom or kitchen remodels are no longer within the scope of my abilities. These are just a few examples of the changes we are making on the project side. If you are unsure of whether the project you have in mind fits this new model, just ask.
We have a few policy changes to announce also. One is that are “Discount” price for “project completion day payments by check” is still in effect and with a slighter larger discount amount; it’s now almost 4%. The change is that we can not longer provide a discount for ANY payments made with PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash or any other payment that is credited to our bank after the project completion day. The payment will have to use the “Regular” amount. We have also had to add a maximum amount of $500.00 for ANY payments made by Cash, PayPal, Zelle or Venmo. Credit card payments remain the same as they have always been.

The last change we want to announce is the addition of Professional Woodworking services. We plan to transition over the next few years from an on-sight project and repairs service to a custom woodworking, shop-based projects service. We will be offering wood based projects like wood serving trays, coasters, cutting boards, boxes of all kinds, trinkets, hand made gifts and most of all, Laser Cutting and Engraving services. We have invested heavily into Laser Engraving, Laser Cutting & other professional woodworking tools in our shop and welcome any opportunity to showcase what we have already accomplished. Some of you have already received coasters as small gifts from us that were made from the scrap pieces of flooring from the flooring we installed for you.
