Fall is here! The weather is turning. The hurricane season is well under way.
If you are following along with my newsletters, in January of 2022, I announced that I am beginning to transition from providing on-site services to shop-made, hand-made and laser engraving wood projects. As I begin this next chapter of “Just Let George Do It”, I won’t let any of you down who have been relying on me for home repairs and projects. I will continue to do projects for existing customers. Except for referrals, I won’t be taking on new customers for on-site work. I am concentrating on the woodworking and engraving departments in my wood shop.
I call this new department “Wood It Be Nice by George”. I am making small wooden items like jewelry boxes, cutting boards, charcuterie boards, cheese boards, coasters, yard signs, plaques, indoor signs and so many other items all with personalized laser engraving or stenciling. These are all great for gift-giving or for yourself. The link above called Woodworking will take you to sample pictures of what I have been making, plus ideas of what I can make. You’ll see items I have made with my new laser cutting and engraving machine that will engrave on just about anything. Monogramed tree ornaments, personalized key chains, engraved pocket knives are all things I have already done. I just delivered a custom toybox that one of my customers is gifting to her granddaughter.
